Comfort food isn’t just about indulgence. It’s about the familiar flavors and satisfying textures that make us feel good! And honestly? Knowing a dish is nourishing and secretly kinda healthy makes it even more comforting.

With my southern roots and background in plant-based nutrition, the intersection where "wholesome" meets "comfort food" is so my thing.

I'll admit, sometimes it's fun to go over the top with something extra decadent, especially on holidays or special occasions. But most of us don't want to eat like that every day. Lucky for us, transforming classic comfort food recipes into something that won't leave us in a food coma is usually as simple as making a few swaps!

Picture this: a veggie-loaded pot pie that tastes like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s, but with a whole-food twist.
